02 — Quick answers

Questions that come up most

Do I need an internet connection to play?

No. Every level, sound and tutorial ships inside the app. Airplane mode changes nothing about how the game runs.

Why did my vehicles collide?

Traffic follows the tiles exactly. A collision usually means a one-way arrow faces the wrong way, a bike is routed onto a freeway tile, or a bus was sent through a junction narrower than its turning width. Replay the attempt in the Flow Lab to see the blocked tile.

What are hint tokens for?

They are earned by solving levels without help and spent to reveal a single tile placement. Every level can also be finished with no hints at all.

How is the Daily Commute the same for everyone?

The board is generated deterministically from the date, so the same day gives the same puzzle. Your streak and best time are kept locally on your device.

Can I reset my progress?

Yes, from the settings inside the app. Deleting the app also removes local progress permanently, so reset deliberately rather than by accident.

Is Game Center required?

No. It is optional, it never blocks play, and every level works without signing in.

03 — Troubleshooting

Four things worth trying first

  1. Silence when a puzzle should chime

Check the ring/silent switch, then the in-app sound toggle, then the volume for media rather than ringer.

  2. A level that feels impossible

Return every tile to the pool with the reset control and check the one-way arrows first — they are the most common culprit. The Flow Lab replay shows the blocked path.

  3. Progress that looks missing

Progress is stored on the device only. If the app was deleted or the device was restored without a backup, that local data is gone and cannot be recovered.

  4. Stutter on an older device

Close background apps, then restart the game. Very large workshop grids with many vehicles are the most demanding boards; smaller grids run smoothly.

04 — Offline play

No account, no ads, no purchases

Logic Road Solve is fully self-contained. There is no login, no store, no advertising and no requirement to be online at any point. Game Center is offered as an optional extra for anyone who wants it, and turning it off leaves the game complete.

05 — Privacy

Where your data lives

The app does not collect personal data. Progress stays on your device. The full details, including what Game Center and Apple diagnostics mean for you, are on the privacy page.
